Sip, Savour and Socialize in our Restaurant
The Mad Dogz Café is a 70 seater restaurant situated in charming thatched buildings and patios adjacent to the Monsoon Gallery. Set against the backdrop of the escarpment, the Afro chic décor, music from the African continent, tropical gardens and water features, makes this the Oasis to stop at.
The restaurant serves a diverse pan-African and international menu. You will find some remarkable dishes like renowned Dullstroom caught trout, served as a salad, pate or simply filleted. Try our Chicken Natalia made with our secret recipe served on a bed of salad or the traditional African Moshebo stew.
Relax and enjoy a fresh glass of mango juice made from the mangoes on our neighbouring farm whist checking your email using the cafe’s free WiFi.

Some of our guest comments compliments of
“Once again ten friends booked in for dinner bed and breakfast. Jaco has now taken over and certainly didn’t disappoint. The rooms were clean and comfortable with an excellent dinner served in the garden area. We asked for the use of a deep freezer amongst other things and were accommodated without hesitation. Breakfast as in previous visits at Monsoon Gallery was very good. We wish Jaco all success with his new venture.”

“Ten friends, some their first visit, others several previous stays. All agreed, excellent clean, spacious, comfortable sleeping accommodation. An evening meal served on the patio was tasty with generous portions. Jan and Petro were delightful hosts who went the extra mile to ensure we were all happy. A hearty breakfast ensured we continued our travels a very satisfied group.”
